One of Vermont’s premier puppeteers, The PuppeTree will present an imaginative retelling of the classic story, The Ugly Duckling, developed in cooperation with The Vermont Institute of Natural Sciences. You will witness the obstacles wild birds face just to survive and what you should do to rescue an injured bird. Visually amazing and skillfully performed, audiences of all ages will laugh at the antics of the giant vultures that take the hapless ugly bird under their wing--and sit wide eyed as our hero is stalked by clever predators. The show was named BEST CHILDREN’S PRODUCTION OF 2011 in VT and NH. The Vermont PuppeTree has been providing innovative and entertaining puppet shows for communities across the Northeast for the past 12 years. Visit them online at www.vtpuppeTree.org or on Facebook at The PuppeTree Inc.
