Ages: Aimed at students of all ages, from teenagers to retirees.  Maximum of 12 participants. 

Are you interested in exploring the craft of writing?  Do you have stories ready to be shared or have you imagined yourself as a writer?  This introductory course will focus on the writing process, structuring thoughts into narrative and adapting stories to a variety of formats.  We will explore the writer’s toolkit and building our vocabulary as writers.  Part of each session will be devoted to sharing participant writing samples.  Students will be required to purchase and read Draft #4 – The Writing Process by John McPhee.
