Emerging Artists Seminar Workshop Concerts

June 2nd, 2019 Cello and June 9th, 2019 Viola & Violin – Seminar Performances, Sundays at 4pm.

The Cello Seminar, at Music from Salem, will present their annual concert on June 2nd, 2019 at 4pm at Hubbard Hall. This year the group will feature a new work for cello octet by Brazilian composer Dmitri Cervo. Coached by Music from Salem musicians Judith Gordon, David Russell, and Rhonda Rider, the cellists come from Asia, Europe and the US to spend a week working at the Brown Farm. Along with ensemble pieces the cellists will perform and talk about solo and duo repertoire in an afternoon of cutting edge music making.  Welcome in the summer with this end-of-the-week cello-bration concert!
